They both scratch their heads in confusion. Suddenly, they don't seem so cool anymore. Sable boy: Do you know your way around this place? Any recommendations where we should go? Sable girl: We were so bored back home... We just came here on a whim. Sable boy: Big city is just so dull, you know? You take it out carefully as not to peek inside the notebook, it may contain her private thoughts- You see a polaroid taken on the afternoon of your tea party. The color... is the frosting strawberry?! You specifically asked for chocolate! You have the right to complain, don't you...? Surely, it's not ilegal to complain. As you stand there, gathering the courage to speak, you hear someone shouting behind you. Oh no, they're probably upset that you're blocking the line! Juno: Hey, she asked for chocolate frosting! You can't believe what just happened, but you've now got your chocolate donut. You thank these cool kids who helped you. The three of you head to the aquarium. It's not too far from the station. For a while you forget what you were there for. The place is so blue and peaceful inside, some of the fish are almost glowing in the dark... Asta: WHY DON'T WE ASK THAT GUARD ABOUT YOUR FRIENDS?!? That... really killed the mood, didn't it. But your new friends are being helpful. You approach the guard and you're glad to find that Juno asks him for you. Guard: A cat, a salamander, a mouse and a porcupine you say? You arrive at the library, it's not too far from the station. There's a ton of books, and you're happy to find out Juno and Asta are manga fans, too! It's hard to drag them out of the manga section though, but you manage to go around the whole library and there's no sign of your friends. A staff member comes to announce the film is about to start. Juno: A film? Isn't this supposed to be a library? Staff: We have short films every now and then! They're exclusive to Girasole library! Would you like to watch? It's around 10 minutes. You shouldn't waste time while you're lost... but what if your friends are in the library movie room? The three of you go take a peak inside, but you end up pushed inside by the crowd and it feels so rude to leave now... Your don't find your friends inside, but maybe a 10-minute short won't hurt. It's an animated film about a very shy rabbit. She is soon to host a dinner party, but she has ran out of ingredients! It feels so relatable for some reason... Everything turns out fine for her, hope it's the same for you! Juno and Asta are crying towards the end, but they try to pretend they're not, and look very silly while doing it. Once it's over, you three hurry out of the movie room to continue on your track. You head to the art museum first. There's lots of artworks and paintings, more even than at Olimpia's house! You'll be sure to tell her about it when you go back home to Little Pond. There's quite some fancy people with easels and canvases, standing in front of some artworks and painting studies of them. You should would like to try, too, but you don't have any materials, and they look a bit intimidating... Asta: Oh, thank you so much! A museum staff member noticed you three and has given Asta some paper and crayons they keep for children. It's not quite the same, but you can have some fun... You each try drawing a portait. Each one comes out uglier than the last. First you tried replicating the artwork, but you then decided to draw portaits of each other. Portrait Teacup's got her eyes uncannily high in her head. Portrait Juno looks like she's seen horrors beyond this world, while Portrait Asta... he looks like he's seen better days. <img src=./img/Museum/0001.png> Juno takes polaroids of all the drawings, so that you can leave the originals pinned on the wall. The three of you walk across the whole place while looking for the others. The plants and trees are beautiful, and there's also a zone where they keep butterflies. Juno takes a polaroid of you with a butterfly on your nose. Her and Asta go around climbing trees to have a better view... Until you're almost kicked out by the staff. Asta: We were saved by your cute tiny frog face! Juno: Us alone, they would've sent our butts flying by now. Asta: It wouldn't be the first time... You're a bit tired already, but these new friends are cheering you on. The statue's got a butterfly resting on her nose. There's a lot of grounds to cover, so you're gonna have to take your time. But as you walk more and more around the garden, you start to feel tired, and you start getting scary thoughts of not being able to find your friends... They don't seem to be here after all. Asta: Hey, Juno, look! There's a piano here! Why don't you delight us with some music. Juno: What is a piano doing... Oh don't, this is so embarassing! I can barely... She's sitting on the piano and suddenly she starts to play the fastest, most complex melody you've ever heard. She's such a pro! Asta: Come on, Teacup, dance with me! You're embarassed, but as Asta goes around you in circles doing the silliest dance you've ever seen, you start to feel a little more hopeful. Maybe a little dance wouldn't hurt... There's a whole crowd clapping around you three out of nowhere. Asta does a stunning pirouette, and you somehow wanna keep up... you attempt a little spin and... you nailed it! The crowd goes wild. Juno: Hey guys I think that guard that's coming here doesn't look too pleased with us. The three of you do a little bow and you start running together and you can't help but laugh. After looking at the manga section (Juno and Asta happen to be fans, too!) you spot some books about flowers, where you could look up the ones you saw at the garden, books on the fish you'd like to see at the aquarium... A BOOK ON TEA!? You wanna take a peak so bad, but your good old tea guide back home wouldn't approve... If only you could take them all home with you! Asta: I think we're allowed to borrow one each... Juno: When would we return them, though? Asta: Oh you mean an excuse to come back here some other time? What do you say, Teacup? That'd certainly be nice... If only you could stay here forever. You wander around in the library and your friends are nowhere to be found. What if you never find them? Would the Girasole Library agree to take you in? Can you be adopted by a bunch of books?! Your eyes start to water at the thought of your friends, of not finding them again, of never getting back home... Juno: Don't be sad, Teacup, we've still got two places to check! It's all blue and dim, except from the small lights coming from the tanks. Asta and Juno seemed to have suddenly gone quiet too, and the whole place just seems to hum. You can faintly hear the bubblying of the water. The quietness and darkness is scary for a moment, like you had just stepped on a different planet... And you find yourself facing a big tank with glowing jellyfish. Their soft movement and glowing colors help calm you down... Asta: WOAH COME LOOK AT THIS FUNNY LOOKING SHARK! You're taken out of your melancholic mood in an instant. But to be fair, the shark is indeed pretty funny. But you don't wanna be mean. Fish, insects, flowers... You'd love to learn more about them all. Maybe you should become an explorer, like Olimpia? ...Nah, reading about them while resting in bed sounds much better. All with a warm cup of tea by your side. One day, you'll get yourself a ton of books. And manga too, of course. It's all blue and dim, except from the small lights coming from the tanks. Asta and Juno seemed to have suddenly gone quiet too, and the whole place just seems to hum. You can faintly hear the bubblying of the water. The quietness and darkness is scary for a moment, like you had just stepped on a different planet... And you find yourself facing a big tank with glowing jellyfish. Their soft movement and glowing colors help calm you down... Asta: WOAH COME LOOK AT THIS FUNNY LOOKING SHARK! You're taken out of your melancholic mood in an instant. But to be fair, the shark is indeed pretty funny. But you don't wanna be mean. Fish, insects, flowers... You'd love to learn more about them all. Maybe you should become an explorer, like Olimpia? ...Nah, reading about them while resting in bed sounds much better. All with a warm cup of tea by your side. One day, you'll get yourself a ton of books. And manga too, of course. Juno: Why didn't you say so earlier, of course I've got a notebook! She also takes out a case with pens in as many colors as the flowers around you. You're gonna have so much fun! Asta: Hey, Juno, look! There's a piano here! Why don't you delight us with some music. Juno: What is a piano doing... Oh don't, this is so embarassing! I can barely... She's sitting on the piano and suddenly she starts to play the fastest, most complex melody you've ever heard. She's such a pro! Asta: Come on, Teacup, dance with me! You're embarassed, but as Asta goes around you in circles doing the silliest dance you've ever seen, you start to feel a little more hopeful. Maybe a little dance wouldn't hurt... You're having fun, but as you cover more and more of the garden, the chances of meeting your friends seem more and more bleak. What if //they// got lost, or something happened to them? You hadn't thought of that! They don't have 2 cool, big sable friends to take care of them... Asta: Wait, maybe they haven't arrived yet! Or maybe we haven't checked everywhere. He's looking at a map of the garden with a clueless expression. Juno: Hey there's a small café in here, too! Come on, Teacup let's get you some warm tea while we wait! The cafe! How did you not think about that. The knot in your throat suddenly loosens up and you walk quickly towards there while Juno holds your hand. "Teacup!!" Bertol: We thought after going around in circles that it was better we waited you here. Well that's smart. Evangeline: We wanted to order tea for you but we didn't want it to get cold! You turn around to see all your friends from Little Pond jumping all over you. Evangeline: Are you alright Teacup? Bertol: Did you think we'd left you behind?! Lyndon: W-we knew you'd think t-that! Do you think she's all alone there still?! Evangeline's voice starts to break, you wanna go to them so bad but you're a bit embarassed now. Asta: HEY, YOU ARE TEACUP'S FRIENDS! But there's not an obvious way around the tanks... The two groups wander aimlessly around the place while trying to reunite. Who designed a place like this?! Once he's done, everyone agrees you should keep and frame it in your house (which gives everyone else an excuse to visit). After exchanging contact info so that you can write letters to each other, you say goodbye to Asta and Juno as they return to their (even bigger) city on a different train and you board your train. ... The sun is setting as you look up from your book. //"The aquarium was so beautiful, I really-" "We have to come back soon, there's so many new places I want to-"// The train back to Big Pond Terminal is still noisy, has a lot of people, and moves a ton... but it doesn't feel as overwhelming as before.
